

Tim is passionate about the food and beverage business and brings a wide range of expertise to HospitalityRFP. He has over 23 years of industry experience as a seasoned operator and experienced consultant. Tim understands the demands on your schedule and has the unique ability to help you through the complex, time consuming task of securing the perfect food service management firm.
In 1986 Tim graduated from the Hotel and Restaurant School at Florida State University. His hospitality career started with Club Corporation of America, the largest private club company in the world. While at Club Corp he earned numerous awards for his operational excellence and was promoted to the Vice President’s position.
As a result of his involvement in Continuous Improvement at the Johnson and Wales culinary school, Tim was selected by the President to serve on their Board of Directors. This placed him on the cutting edge of the food and beverage industry. Having experienced the problems associated with a traditional RFP process, Tim and Bill Dingwell developed an innovative approach that is the focus of their HospitalityRFP partnership.
Tim is high energy, hands on, and very involved at all levels of the Hospitality Industry. He understands the daily challenges of hospitality and how important it is to select the correct hospitality management provider.

Having earned the status as a trusted advisor, Bill and Corporate Dining were frequently asked to create, coordinate and implement a food service management Request for Proposal. Since this process was always time consuming and expensive, Bill and Tim Shepardson, another former Corporate Dining Associate, decided that there is a more efficient, more affordable approach to this process. Having identified the problem, Tim and Bill devoted over a year toward the development of a new approach to a hospitality management RFP.
